Tuition details

Transparent, predictable, fully accounted for

12-month billing. Tuition is charged year-round. Your child's spot is held regardless of vacation or holidays.
Annual review. Tuition is reviewed once a year each September.
Sibling discount. 10% off the second child's tuition for families enrolling more than one.
$300 referral credit. Refer a family that enrolls and receive a $300 credit after their first full month.
Late pickup fee. $1 per minute after 5:30pm. Rarely needed; mentioned for transparency.
Families provide lunch. Healthy snacks are provided throughout the day: fresh fruit, whole grains, dairy.

When comparing early childhood programs, we encourage families to consider total coverage. Many programs in our area close at 3:00pm or 4:30pm, requiring separate aftercare arrangements that add up quickly.

Glenwood Grove is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm. The rate you see here is the complete cost of care, with no aftercare to arrange and no summer scramble.

Our calendar

Aligned with SVUSD, open through summer

We're a year-round program located just a short walk from Vine Hill Elementary (0.3 miles). During the school year we follow the Scotts Valley Unified School District calendar so families with older children at Vine Hill or anywhere in SVUSD have one consistent schedule and one drop-off neighborhood. We close for district holidays and a handful of other non-student/non-staff days, listed in full below. We stay open on SVUSD staff-only professional development days.

We stay open through the summer, with one additional week of closure, typically the week of July 4th. No piecing together summer camps. No coverage gaps.

When we're closed

We follow the Scotts Valley Unified School District calendar during the school year, plus one additional week of closure each summer, typically the week of July 4th. These are the only days we're closed; we stay open on SVUSD's staff-only professional development days.

We focus on full-time enrollment because consistency is essential for young children, both for their development and for the rhythm of our small group. We do not currently offer part-time or drop-in care.

Our program is built around the five domains of early childhood development: cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language, and creative. Mornings are intentional and teacher-led. Afternoons are child-led and exploratory. Learn more on our Our Approach page.

Yes. We are licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Family Child Care Home. All staff are CPR/First Aid certified, mandated reporter trained, immunization verified, and Live Scan cleared.
